My parents are the most caring and loving people I have ever known. One of the things they impressed on me from a very early age was the importance of a handwritten thank you note. Not a text. Not an email. A note — in your own hand, on paper, posted.

I built Sent by Hand to solve that problem — for myself first, and then for everyone who recognised that same feeling.

The idea is simple. You fill out a handwriting template once — every letter, number, and punctuation mark, in your natural hand. We analyse your letterforms and build a font that is uniquely yours. Not a generic cursive script. Not a digitised approximation. Your handwriting, captured and preserved.

From that point on, sending a card takes minutes. You type your message, choose your recipient, and we do everything else — typeset in your handwriting, printed on beautiful card stock, stuffed into an envelope, and posted directly.
